College Counseling
This service is offered by David Jorgensen, an independent college counsellor. Educated at the University of Kent in the UK and University of Pennsylvania in the USA, David has over ten years’ experience working at international schools in the UK, USA and Switzerland, working individually with hundreds of students to help them find the best university fit, based on their preferences, academic profile and financial background.
WHAT DAVID OFFERS:
College preparation: helping students to devise a balance list of college and university options in countries of interest. Guidance on entry requirements, including external testing (SAT and IELTS, for example) and facilitating campus visits if necessary
Application mentorship: complete support with applications throughout the process, including checking applications before submission, guidance on writing effective letters of motivation and how to ‘uplift’ applications to increase chances of success
Personalized guidance: liaising regularly with students so they do not feel overwhelmed in what can often be a complicated process. Speaking to university representatives regarding students’ application if needed.
Fitness Training & Nutrition Coaching
Led by Katrin Pärt, an EKR5-certified fitness and bodybuilding coach with a specialty in strength training and mobility. Katrin also trains clients in tennis, squash, and badminton.
