Guided by Experience
Driven by Purpose

When I think about myself as a student, I remember having ambition but lacking well-grounded goals and focus. At times I definitely had more questions than answers and felt confused. These are the moments I missed guidance in seeing the bigger picture and making smart decisions.

Today mentoring young people and supporting families through the ever-evolving journey of education is one of the things I enjoy the most. I aim to help students develop not only strong academic skills but also confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose. Guided by three core values: persistence, structure, and meaningful connection, my goal is to support each young person in discovering and developing their full potential within a global context.

I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management from Tallinn University. In 2023, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) through Durham University, alongside an IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning. These programs reaffirmed my belief in student-centered education and further strengthened the pedagogical and mentoring tools I bring to my daily work.

From 2011 to 2022, I had the privilege of serving in several senior leadership roles at the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz, an international boarding school in Switzerland. My roles included Head of Boarding House, Head of Summer Camp Operations, and Director of Admissions and Marketing. Additionally, I have a wide range of experience coaching basketball and developing extracurricular programs for students. These experiences deepened my commitment to holistic student development and gave me a lasting appreciation for cross-cultural, international education.

Over the years, I’ve developed extensive admissions experience across Switzerland, the UK, Spain, Singapore, and Estonia, which allows me to provide families with well-informed, globally relevant guidance. This international perspective is central to my work and ensures that the advice I offer is not only strategic but also culturally sensitive and globally recognized.

Currently, I teach iGCSE Sports Science and Physical Education part-time at Collège du Léman International School, where I also serve as an academic advisor and basketball coach. These roles keep me closely connected to the classroom while allowing me to focus on what I’m most passionate about: personalized academic mentoring through AV Academic Consulting.
